In the bingo Don Pelayo of Barcelona they don’t want to see what happens with the Tobacco law so they have set everything ready. The interior managers, Javier Masana and Marta Villalonga have integrated the 300 m2 (the maximum according to law) of the compartmented zone for smokers in the venue’s decoration.
“We have spent a lot of money in quality glassware that doesn’t give the feeling of isolation”, explains Graciela Betolin, the manager of this and another five Spanish bingos that, she assures, also respect the norm. The smoking zone includes the independent air conditioning system, smoke extractors and air purifiers that help the tobacco smell not to stick in the cloth.
“The conditioning benefits also non smokers that want to share these spaces”, she comments. The Don Pelayo celebrates the end of the adequacy works for the Tobacco law giving out bonbons to its clients.
